Normally, it is very difficult for a new researcher to set up lab for experimental studies mostly because of unavailability of funds. However, it is very easy to get research paper publication in such areas.
On the other hand, analytical analysis do not required enough funds as these can be done easily on personal computer with available open sources software. However, it is very difficult to get research paper publication in such areas.
Therefore, I request senior research scholars and Professors to suggest, how new researchers should start their research works?

In my opinion, it is good to start research with analytical studies and switch into experimental setups after getting expertise.
Bot research competence --- Experimental and Analytical --- important for researcher.
However, experimental research is comparatively easier the review/analytical research.
I think one should start with a good research problem. Then he or she can start solving the problem according to available knowledge, skills and other resources. If the problem can be solved analytically, then it will be very nice. However, some problem require experimentation. If one can do it then it should be done. Otherwise, one should try to find another problem which he/she can attack. Just do research according to available resources. In this manner, gradually, the researcher will increase his expertise and become better.

However, getting research paper publication is very difficult in Analytical studies.
Dear Mr. Mahamad Nabab Alam,
Experimental approach has drawbacks of constraints of costly setups and need benchmarks. Hence, analytical supported by simulation is much feasible and affordable.
