Can you recommend me a reliable antibody anti-human cells working for cryosection stainings (IHC-Fr)? We used the anti-NuMa but it does not work properly... Thanks, Marisa
We have used Abcam AB92824 to human mitochondria, and also Abcam AB11079 anti-Histone H1.0 antibody.
Abcam AB191181 HNA is unreliable; in our hands it works in TC but not too great in PFA-fixed frozen sections even when all the cells are human cells. In frozen sections, mostly cytoplasmic (!) and few nuclear+cytoplasmic staining.
Dako M0736 W6/32 monoclonal antibody to HLA-A, B, C has not given us joy either, and likewise BD clone TÜ99 to B2M.
Sorry Donald, did oyu use Ab AB92824 to human mitochondria in frozen sections ? it is not mentioned in the datasheet..... Thanks. Marisa
Marisa, we have used that ab in PFA/frozen sections of human cells implanted in chick or quail embryos, and also similar tissues PFA fixed and wholemounted, and also on cells in cell culture. It worked in all contexts.
