I'm working on SPE. I wonder if it is the same to use Ag or Ag/AgCl paste for reference electrode. Which one is better to use?
In the other hand using SPE reference Ag, WE and CE Carbon I have a peak close to 0 V potencia when I performed a CV with 0,1M KCl. A friend tell me it could be from the silver electrode. How could I resolved it?

Ok, but in several SPE is used just silver including comercial electrodes. I don't know why...
When asking a question, do not use abbreviations. SPE could stand for a screen printed electrode or a solid polymer electrolyte. If you mean a screen printed electrode, check the manual of the manufacture.

Mam, can you please tell me what do u mean by polarization of electrode.
I am also facing the same problem on working screen printed electrode. I used graphite paste for WE and CE while Ag/AgCl paste for RE and still I obtained the redox peak near 0 V. Experts please suggest.
