Thank you for sharing your question, I wonder about it several times.
In my opinion, biotechnology of plants is at a point, halfway between the basic sciences and applied sciences. My suggestion is that you identify, in your data, more applicable concepts to help decision-making in the agricultural field. About those concepts that are most associated with basic science I would reinforce them through good literature support. Another suggestion might be to make two publications with emphasis on theoretical aspects and another emphasizing the aspects associated with the economy.
Could you be more specific? What exactly do you want to publish? I'm mostly agree with Diego, except that, as for every field of science, there're topics that deal with basic science and other with innovative one. Discovering how a gene acts, is basic science, however, transferability of a micropropagation culture protocol fall into the innovation. This a key topic to dertermine to which journal should be elected for publishing.
Thank u both of u for ur words and Ricardo Sir basically I worked on nitrogen fixing bacteria and characterized at biochemical, morphological and molecular level.
I guess you're compared to being compared to different strains. It would be good to include in your experimental design strains that are available in the market to highlight the pros and cons of your new offer.
