Is it would be logical to use Flood prone map as flood hazard parameter in flood risk assesment analysis? where the flood prone map considered previous flood history.
Beyond depth, velocity, and rainfall, I will include as additional flood hazard factors: the arrival time and duration (affecting evacuation and damage), sediment or contamination loads (water quality and cleanup), flow accumulation and drainage proximity (flood-prone areas), elevation and slope (water movement), land use and geology (infiltration and runoff), indices like Stream Power and Topographic Wetness (energy and saturation), roughness coefficients (flow patterns), and morphometric parameters (hydrological response).
