Hello everyone,
I am modeling a bridge with and orthotropic deck, floor beams, edge beams and main girders. I have to connect bridge deck with the floor beams and floor beams with the main girder. Which one should be the control point and slave point in order to connect:
1. Deck with the floor beams
2. Floor beams with main girder
Also, changing the location of control point and slave nodes can vary the analysis results?
Please suggest me the basic idea on which basis I should select control point and slave node in connecting two members?

Perhaps, it will work:
1. Deck will be the control point and floor beam will be the slave.
2. Floor beam will be the control point and main girder will act like a slave.
