Bad friends and uncontrolled internet, both are dangerous for children.

We can prevent by being role model, and actively involving our children in physical activities, and managing their time, as they have balance in their lives.

I think both are equally dangerous for children education.

Bad friends. The internet and news media are sources for informations that parents can educate their children about. Bad friends are beyond parents ability to control.

I think friends can easily influence children than the internet. They first make friends from their early age before they come of age to surf the internet.

For parents loving care of child called for observation of his behavior in the form of nature,temperament his playing styles & such other qualities remain a serious observation for the parents .With all the loving care parent should observe & make every action for his child in a loving manner so that he may certainly care of his negative traits & make the necessary improvement .

Both are not congenial for healthy development of child as indicator earlier parents have to observe & keep watch dog eye on his child for his friends group & in this case it is the responsibility of parent in the initial stage .

As to uncontrolled Internet , it has become the companion for every boys& girls every where by keeping the mobile internet in the hand either outside or at their residence . In this line also parents may offer the good guideline for their children .

both are dangerous. we should educate our children and empower them to distinguish good and bad behaviors. just keeping them away is not a solution.

In my view, both cases are very damaging, but as far as education is concerned, bad friends are more harmful because their bad influence is directly related to the child's behavior, while the Internet can be controlled.

In my view if parents teach their child well since the starting about the moral and social values ,then both can be beneficial.

I mostly agree with Dr. Nazia Assad. But there are also positive aspects in communicating with friends (both good or bad) and on the Internet. On other hand, it is impossible to isolate him from these influences. As a result, it is important that the child have stable initial settings, which he can only get in the family. Overcontrol can play a bad role, the child can not act independently, without instructions of authority, especially in critical situations.

Since I have take up some psychotherapy sessions in children and adolescents both, I can vouch for my words here. Both, bad company of friends and uncontrolled & unchecked exposure to the internet are undoubtedly the most dangerous for children and teens. Not every child or a teenager falls for the honey trap of these, but, mostly, children who don't have a good support system and a loving milieu at home, such children more often are affected.

Parents or guardians must be vigilant when their children or teenager is using the internet or hanging out with their friends. I know, in today's "open" environment, it is not easy to keep an eye over children, but, precautions must be taken. It is the utmost responsibilities of teachers (in schools), parents / guardians to watch over the kids and to periodically talk to them about such malicious things. Talking out, though, is very tough in the beginning, but, once we start the conversation, it becomes as easy as a pie.

Children & teenagers of today are open minded and ready to learn things on their own, without any help. The only thing to keep them safe is to maintain a good and a healthy relationship with them. Parents must be more of friends than the traditional scrooge parents that we already know.

This empathetic and a friendly strategy towards kids always works wonders!
