Hi Adi. If you're planning to screen for antibodies against Hib but specifically against its proteins like protein D or the outer membrane proteins (P4, P6), I suggest you try the Nunc microtiter plates of the polysorp or medisorp binding types. i find these adequate for screening Abs against pneumococcal proteins so may be good for your assay as well.

Maxisorp and Polisorp plates are very good, as Mrs. Francis told you, but in certain cases polysaccharides had not bind adequately to plate surface. In this cases, Hib conjugate are an excelent option. I had use a Hib conjugated to a protein with good results. Important, the carrier protein must be diferent to the blocking protein and evolutivelly no related.
