I am working on a research project to determine Environmentally Persistent Free Radicals (EPFRs) in wildfire ash samples by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Spectrometry. I already ran the samples and got the signals that confirm (based on g vale) the presence of free radicles and transitional metals (in some samples). I also do the baseline corrections as well. Now, which method should I use to develop the calibration curve and determine the concentration (spin/g) of free radicles? Should I use TEMPO or DPPH as standard?
