I made a layer of PbI2 by spin coating and I want to cover it with Ch3NH3I in a sequential process. is it better to do it by spin coating again or by dip coating. which speed has a better effect in spin coating.? what about the time of dipping?
I tried both of two methods. For the dipping method, most paper said that need 20s, and I think we can observe that color change from yellow to brown, sometimes it will be more than 20s.
For the spin coating, I think if the humidity is low, or if you operate it in glove box, then the spin coating will be better, and the bottom of PbI2 will react with CH3NH3I completely.
Actually I am also not very sure about it, but if you try dipping method ,you can see that at the beginning 15-20 seconds, the color of the surface change very fast, and after dozens of seconds, it will not change anymore, but it just the surface, inside of it, we cannot observe it.
