Dear Researchers,
I did the Gas chromatography mass spectrometery ( GC-MS) by using Agilent instrument, and now the Agilent software is not working in my computer, so any other easily available software to do data analysis for GC-MS?
Can you please share the software with downloading link, and how to use

Hafiz. Probly you have a new computer and "old" chemstation (?). The best is to install a virtualbox software on your computer - inside install a windows xp and there your chemstation. I've used this approach many times.

Try AMDIS. You can download it and use without any licensing fees. I recently got some training on this from my colleague.
AMDIS offers also a deconvolution algorithm, so you can try do perform identyfication and quantification of partially nor resolved peaks.
Grzegorz Boczkaj Navid J. Ayon i have installed the ADMIS ,but its not opening the Agilent files ( .D) so how can convert that .D files in CDF ? or can ADMIS open and work for .D files?
and it also have no Library and i have installed the NIST but still not working

From your question what I understood is Agilent Chemstation software was working with your existing PC but now currently it is not working. If that is the case, I strongly feel the problem is with your computer . Try to install the software and NIST library in another PC and check the communication . I hope you have the Agilent software backup. You can take the help of Agilent service engineer .

AMDIS does read (.D files) make sure you are loading the whole .D folder
What do you mean by installed NIST? on AMDIS? #confused
Remember that the NIST search on Chemstation requires NIST MS Search (its a tiny software that does the searching).

AMDIS works with agilent *.D subdirectories (folder) not files.
When you download AMDIS install the short library NIST that they have fro free.
AMDIS is for deconvolution of GC/MS files against a library.
It did not do the same things that you are custom to do with the chemstation.
If you have the Agilent software install it in another PC. Is the version that you have is old, installed in a virtual machine of 32bits. XP it is a go one.
If you have 7pro or 10 pro they already have a virtual machine inside. You only have to habitabilitate that option even if it is 64bits.

We use MetaboAnalyst to access a library. We obtained it from our proteomics training center. One of my colleague is better at this. I will either copy him here or ask him for more information. I mostly do proteomics with Q-ToF and targeted metabolomics with triple quad. Just started on untargeted metabolomics and some GC-MS. So, I am sorry I dont have much more information at this point.

But I am still facing a problem, as I have downloaded the open chrome from the link you mentioned, but it's not opening .d Files
and there are three options for files such as (msd, csd and wsd ) so whats that means? are all the same or whats differenecs?
Depending in your version of Chemstation .d could be a sub folder or and extension of the file. check in your version of chemstation how it call the files.

Could any one please suggest how to subtract solvent spectra from test spectra in gas chromatography technique. I recently used open chrom software to analyse my data, but i am not able to get that subtact scan option.
