I'm currently working with C.elegans and my actual population synchronization protocol does not give good results , I get sometimes a lot of eggs but the next day when I check the population in M9 buffer with soft agitation overnight, all that I get are dead worms.

Someone knows a protocol that give best results that 1:1 NaOH/NaoCl and a cheap alternative for the platinum worm picker?
