Kindly suggest any good image segmentation technique for Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite image. As I have tried Simple Linear Indexed Clustering (SLIC) but it does not seem to work fine with satellite image.

SAR images are different from visible light images and its pixel's variance is very low. If you want to extract features or desired object from image then you should know about processing image. The segmentation technique depends on image characteristics that why every one want to see SAR image. Image is non stationary and having different number of looks so before select techniques we should know the number of looks of ROI or segmentation feature or statistical parameters.
