I'm going to study insulin, its pathway and relative effects on other anabolic substances on muscle, adipocytes and liver.
My doubs are on which HUMAN cells (both muscular and adipose) are the best candidates for this kind of study.

I am working on adipose tissue and insulin resistance.
So for the human Adipose tissue Insulin pathway, you can use a human adipose-derived stem cell (HAdSCs) which can be converted into adipocyte, chondrocyte, and osteocyte using differentiation cocktail. and apart from this, there is Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome (SGBS) cell line is also there which is a preadipocyte cell line and it also can be used for insulin pathway study in adipose tissue.
For the Liver, you can use the Hep-G2 cell line which is a human liver carcinoma cell line.
