Language editing is a major concern for authors who do not have English as their primary language. Problems with grammar, language, and syntax can result in the rejection of manuscripts from international biomedical Journals. The editors and experts often recommend professional editing which can sometimes cost hundreds of dollars. This is not feasible nor affordable for the majority of authors and researchers based in developing countries who do not have sufficient funds or institutional support.
Many online language editing softwares are now available but the better ones have limited functionality for the free version for example Grammarly.
Please share your experience of using online language editing software with their and strengths and shortcomings. I have been Trinka for 4 months now with excellent results and would highly recommend it

Share your experience of other software too
In my opinion, not all of these sites and grammar checking software check grammar completely and accurately.
I used to check the grammar of the article that I had translated from Persian to English, but for the sake of convenience, that software turned the unknown verb into known, and this changed the meaning of my article.
I used this sites Grammarly, Grammarchek, Scribens, Ginger Grammar Checker and grammar.com
Thank You Tooska Seifi for sharing your experience. I agree that none of these websites/ software is perfect. Human editing is better than editing done by AI software.
However, for those who cannot afford to pay, these are good alternatives

If you are referring to the paid version of Grammarly, it costs more than 120 USD per year. The free version is not better than Trinka in my opinion.
I would be interested to know the reasons for which you prefer Grammarly .

I knew Adobe premier but the Samrt Edit was something new for me.
Paid version of Grammarly is also OK to use but it's almost difficult to compare with human skilled editing of a manuscript.
All the software help a little bit, there is no comparison of human brain. Time to improve ourselves and learn by doing. I agree with Prof Montazeri that for better writing one should need to read and read scientific papers.
Farooq Azam Rathore - I agree with Fahad Saqib Lodhi - and I would suggest 'wetware rather' than software. Run your text through the English language software or web-based products, but also run it through an English-speaking human mind.
Don't underestimate the value of a fresh set of eyes on a paper. Whenever you can, share and proofread the works of colleagues and others, no matter their proficiency level or discipline of study.
A colleague in biochemistry should be able to read a paper on economic theory and provide valid comments and vice-versa. Of course there will be subject-specific details that a peer-review will examine and final-proofing needs a subject-expert, but initial review and subsequent proofing can be done in a spirit of collegiality and need not be adversarial.
Have your paper read by as many others as you can, and reciprocate by reading and commenting on theirs. More is always better, before print. Your colleague in another discipline may be able to point out to you that a favorite subject-specific term or usage is in fact obsolete or regional, or that a 25 word passage could be reduced to 10.
