Which is more accurate in measuring radon gas concentration Rad 7 or SSNTDs ?
When we try to measure the radon gas in any room we found that the radon gas concentration measured by Rad-7 is greater than the concentration measured by SSNTDS. Which is the true and accurate?
Why the result measured by SSNTDs is more than the results measured by Rad7?
Who can we deal with this difference?
Rad7 is an active technique of detecting Rn-222 whileas using SSNTDs is a passive technique. May be you're not following the proper protocol for measurements while dealing with SSNTDs.
RAD 7 is an active technique for measurement radon concentration in air . you can run a system for more than 72 hours continuously and transfer a data to computer to analysis by software. the annual effective dose due to radon inhalation can be calculated easily.

The error in RAD7 less than SSNTDs as mentioned from caluges there are differents between the error sources from passive to active tequnices in general for low activity passive tecqunices more prefable
