Surface water resources like ponds, lakes, reservoirs and rivers and sea water undergo solar evaporation in presence of sunlight. I like to know which one has higher evaporation rate.
My understanding is that, at a given temperature, the evaporation rate will be lower for the sea water than for the fresh water. More energy is required for evaporation of sea water than fresh water.
