Can I use organic solvents like 2-propanol etc..can also ask for aqueous electrolytes like NaOH or others

It will strongly depends on your application.
Normally for battery experiments we employ the 50/50 %v/v EC/DEC electrolyte with LiPF6 salt dissolved.
Unless you require dissolution or etching of electrode, do not use NaOH or KOH. Alcohols or carbonyl compounds might do good (not entirely sure)
