We get in India only Ag/AgCl pH electrodes; probably there is only one manufacturer whose electrodes are supplied with any brand of pH meters. We get a significant variation of readings between well calibrated pH meters when Tris containing buffers are to be made with accuracy.
Hi, I am also having troubles with this, and I have been reading about it. Until I understand if you will use Tris buffer you cannot use any AG/AgCl electrodes. I have found that "calomel" electrodes are some option, but also could be an option a DoubleJunction electrodes.
