would describe in more detail how do you fabricated the positively charged drug? So that one can discover how the material gets charged. In principle initially materials are neutral and they get charged by transferring charges to them or from them. If the material is positively charged means that we extracted electrons from its surface or added positive ions to its surface.
Thanks for your reply. We coated the polypyrrole (PPy) film on the surface of a home-made needle by using electrochemistry workstation. Oxidation was reacted among the pyrrole monomer during the polymerization process. Finally, the fabricated needle is positively charged. Our purpose is loading drugs into the fabricated needle.
Most protein drugs carry both charges (insulin as an example carry positive and negative charge) and we can make it positive in acid media as it accept protons or negative in basic media as it loss hydrogen..so as a suggestion you can use of protein drugs to be carried on these needles in a suitable media.
