I am performing a simulation on a 4pbt of a steel I-beam. It is a symmetric analysis so only a quarter of the beam is being considered. The load is being applied on the y-direction as pressure. The beam has lateral restraints on 3 spots, 2 at the mid-span and one near the support. Can anyone please tell me what boundary conditions I should use for the lateral restraint?

I looked at your Abaqus model. The x-axis displacement boundary conditions appear to be closed to prevent lateral buckling. Of course, if you mean lateral buckling.
Salar Rasti yes, but I am not sure if those are the right conditions for a lateral restraint. I am trying to validate a paper, they only said they used lateral restraints but I am confused about which boundary conditions I should use to model them.

I'm studying on the push off test analysis on sandwich panel, I tried different boundary condition and elastic modulus for the material properties but still getting a very stiff slope in the load-displacement result. Have you experience this or do you have any ideas on it?
Wan Sin Lim Sorry, I can't think of anything. The elastic modulus or the plastic properties can be the issue but seems like you already tried that. Hope you will find the answer somehow.
