Which are the latest possible objectives in the research of parametric optimization of electric discharge machining of Al-SiC MMC except the optimization process? Which methodology can be applied to gain the defined objectives ? As there is lot of work have already done on this area though I have asked for the objectives undefined yet and its concern methodology.

Most of the researchers thoroughly worked on process modelling, process parameters, materials of electrodes/tool-work-piece, dielectric medium, etc. The process modelling of WEDM is considered as prime objective for most of the research works. There is a need to look deeper into the process parametric effects and the influence of ceramic particles on the process.

I think desirability function optimization is now a days preferred industrial approach for simultaneously optimization of multiple responses under defined constraints.

kindly elaborate which multiple responses under defined constraints. If any science direct or any referred journal paper mentioning gap then send me. I require proper research gap containing multiple objectives as optimization more work have already been done.
Multiple response/output parameters may be material removal rate, wear ratio, surface roughness, whereas input parameters constraint/range may be electrode material/configuration, flushing method, and other operating parameters.
