I am interested in research of parametric analysis of Composite material. I have referred few papers on it. Can anyone suggest the composite material which may have scope for Electric discharge machining scope by considering material ready availability, Manufacturing of composite, cost, research papers as well resources of material?

As par as I am aware that for specific requirements there is no data.
Like a specific component to be prepared by EDM process.
I hope it will be having scope if you were able to generalize for various applications with your experimental data/calculations,
But still the parameters or the data can't be exactly same because the performance is a dependent on the conditions of operating the machine, Like is it fully under controlled environment..etc
If you could be able to formulate solutions to overcome for all these conditions, then it could become more quality outcome

you can machine Al-SiCp MMC using EDM process. Since it is easily manufactured, you can use it.

Thank you for your response. you have suggested me to machine Al-SiCp MMC using EDM process. Since it is easily manufactured, one can use it. I required to justify not only easy mfg of MMC but certain specific utility of MMC Al-SiCp or any MMC then which method would be best suited for ED machining of Al-SiCp or particular MMC? is there any reference available for justification..
