I am sorry for my ignorance on this subject but considering the increasing probability of cancer on population, I am really interested on the future perspectives on oncologic detection from a technologic point of view. Specifically, I wonder in my dreams on the possibility of a home radiological system, which would allow for individual continuous detection of tumors and a fast treatment.
- Am I far from actual-detection systems; is there any evidence or device allowing to dissociate between normal and tumoral tissue?
- Which are the actual approximations?
- How can we deal with the limitations on tumor detection?

i feel your concern about cancer.your dream is nice but at the moment there is not a comprehensive system to detect all cancer in human.but we suppose a rosy further for early detection.there is some fact and role for different cancer detection but not all.
we have guideline for early detection for breast, colorectal, cervix, skin cancer and prostate cancer.

It is difficult to know what the future will show us, particularly in cancer detection, but progress is made day after day. For example, RMN imaging was unthinkable as a diagnostic tool for early detection of breast cancer. Today it is becoming an interesting instrument in this regard.
Liquid biopsy by obtaining circulating cancer cells is becoming another interesting tool.
The list of innovations is increasing, so that I am not skeptical, but moderately optimist about the progress in diagnostic tools.
DEar Martin, today the medical imaging using multiparametric MRI and molecular imaging with PET-CT have limitations in sensitivity and specificity, and the fundamental diagnosis remains through pathology . Maybe in the future with hybrid PET and MRI equipments and new isotopes we can progress in this line.
