I run different SDM with BIOMOD2 package and Maxent. I get my results about the best models performances, AUC values, etc. Now I'm interesting to evaluate the levels of niche overlap and/or breadth. in the analysis to niche overlap we have ENMTools (warren), Ecospat(broennimann 2015, nichePY (bentagle 2012), ENMeval (muscarella 2016) DISMO package
Have someone used this before? could you recommend some approach?
any comment is pretty appreciated!

ricardo, dependiendo de la estructura y embergadura de tus datos te recomiendo que uses hyperniche sensillo, enfoque no parametrico y no acumulativo...los softwares que mencionas para R son una paja (al menos para determinar niche overlap and breath). y no son tan robustos. I prefer the Broennimann ecospat method, as it calculates niche metrics directly into the environmental space, thereby avoiding many of the methodological pitfalls of the geographic a space based Species Distribution Models. The ecospat R package also is really nice and relatively easy to use.

Hi Diederik, I was reviewing the Broennimann approach, mainly the functions about niche similarity and equivalency. However, I realized that the function use only two explanatory variables. isitnt it?? Have I pairwise the e.v.?

Quite interesting!! unfortunately not work on categorical data and I'm using a couple of variable with those format.
