I checked that there are porcine alveolar macrophage (PAM), monocytes, and lymphocytes in the fluid flushed from pig lungs by diff quik stainig.
I would like to sort out macrophges from the fluid by magnetic cell sorting.
Which antibody can be useful for sorting out PAM?

Please check out the attached paper for some ideas on how to prepare alveolar macrophages from porcine BAL. Unfortunately, MACS sorting will be a little problematic as in pigs alveolar macrophages are co-expressing CD163 and SIRPa (CD172a), so my suggestion would be to FACS sort that population instead. There are a large number of DCs that reside in the different compartments of the lung, which can be found in the BAL. Some of the markers of these DCs are also present on alveolar macrophages: two of the best known are the MR CD205 and the DCLamp CD208. Interestingly, there are antibodies that can cross between humans and pigs. Other markers can also be explored (CD209, CD303, CD304, CD367 ...).
