I'm Master student, currently in the phase of planning dissertation. Based on my interest I have an idea of estimating resident and migratory birds, species diversity and is there any change in the abundance of resident after arrival of migratory birds. How both interact, will migratory birds arrival make resident birds move out and analysis stress level of both groups.
I have this idea and I would like to know how can this be executed and much more vision on this.
Since I couldn't find any paper related to this, it will be helpful if someone can suggest me related papers or works done or your vision on this...
You would just record and count bird species. There are lots of papers on that. Then perform permanova. Your variables are also affected by habitat. See:

Hello Priyadharshini; For some background reading in the subject you might look up the work of Robert MacArthur. His stuff is the classic origins of this field from the 1960s abd 1970s. It will provide you with some valuable context. Then follow those who cited him.
