I am interested in anti-inflammatory regulations of insulin. ROS and other pro-oxidants play major role in inflammatory pathway regulation. Therefore I would like to know whether insulin can control those pathways.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with insulin. Try to find some relevant references. Google using the name Zongwei Wang from MGH. He had a study with diabetic urinary bladder, possibly he reported something.
Unfortunately our experience with antioxidants is limited to melatonin, minocycline and resveratrol. From insulin it is known that some antioxidant polyphenolic compounds mimic the action of insulin, then, by hypothesis this would also have antioxidant effect.
