Gaining citations for research work depending on many factors i.e. type, feild & quality of research publications. There is a belief among academics that research collaboration especially with international authors yeild more citations. Is that true ?
Not necessarily. However, the international touch widens the scope of its visibility and readability.

I feel when more researchers work together, it collaborates more communities as it may contain different fields and organizations. we know that different authors do have their own readers and researches who flowing them, this is serious when considering the international authors. Hence obviously such papers getting more citations.
I agree Rmm Pradeep. The visibility of Publication will reach wider audience if we collaborate with multiple authors. The research network of each author participated have similar interests on the chosen subject that would provide scope for more citations.
I agree. International collaboration will give more visibility and impact provided the quality of the published paper and the journal is good. Otherwise, there is no impact of collaboration.
We get more visibility and impact we must publish in the high impact and indexed journals.
