Internationalization is growing concern among universities where majority of them are increasingly aware of the importance of ranking. Globally, several ranking agencies exit and a set of indicators are in place to evaluate the universities in order to rank them in a continuum. Among the indicators, sixty percent of weight-age is given to the teaching (20%) and research (40%) excellence of the faculty members. In order to improve the performance of these indicators, it is paramount to understand the hidden perceptions of the faculty about these two critical issues.
