In English the usual place of the adjective is its occurrence in a prenominal position. It can be used after the noun; after linking verbs( look, appear, seem , taste, etc.) and after the noun ( postnominal position).
In Arabic, however, the adjective comes in one position only: after the noun ot modifies.
The adjective in Arabic is marked for number, gender, case and definiteness. It is not used at all in other places. If it comes in other positions, its syntactic function will be changed.

Languages, unlike English, vary in the positions of adjectives. The usual place for the adjective in most languages which descend from the Semitic family is their occurrence AFTER the noun. Best regards.
Years ago, J. Greenberg (LANGUAGE, ca. 1976) did a comparative typological study of word order, correlating[ Subject]-Verb-Object with Noun-Adjective, etc.
Russian is characterized by a relatively free word order, so the position of the adjective in the sentence is not strictly fixed. It can be used before a noun, which is the most common case, after a noun, and after a link verb as the nominal component of a complex predicate. So it is very much like English in this regard, although English is more rigid when it comes to the word order. Unlike English, however, the Russian adjective is marked for gender, case, and number. Qualitative adjectives also have strong and weak forms associated with the permanent or temporal nature of the property respectively.
