A recently published extension of SILAC, NeuCode SILAC, requires that data be collected at 480,000 resolution (or minimum 240,000 resolution) for quantification of the 36 mDa spaced precursor masses. I don't have access to anything with greater than about 100,000 resolution. I called MSBioworks and they said the best they have is the Q-Exactive with 120,000 resolution. Is anyone aware of a University of California core lab or commercial service that offers high resolution data collection to enable the use of NeuCode?
