I am very interested in the field of forest parameters extraction from LiDAR datasets. However, we are lack of benchmarks to test the performance of our proposed method. Can you offer me some publicly available LiDAR datasets for forest parameters (such as DHB, height, crown spread, etc.) extraction testing.

I am not sure if you are looking LiDAR data for any specific region, but if that is not the case, then you can download LiDAR data from this link. LiDAR data is available to download over Sierra Nevada California which is snow dominated forested watershed. You can download data both for snow off and snow on. Hope it helps.
