hi，if a mediation should be used in human for at least 8months，now I want to use this mediation to treat mice ，then the time length of the drug treatment should be how long since mice‘s life span is far more shotter than human beings.Is there any formulas available？
In theses types of studies you should always do multiple time points for the very reason that you cannot always know that the outcome will be the same between species especially since a drug can have very different rates of metabolism, sites of action, etc between species. Also, no journal will publish a paper about a drug in which a single time point was chosen without having already shown that that specific time point was the best.

There are several issues here. First, account for the differences in metabolic weight. Second, account for the differences in development (puberty, maturity, aging, etc). Next, ensure that the end-points to be measured are similar. Finally, understand the mechanism of action of the drug. How much time does it need to cause the expected response?
