Hi everyone,
I would like to have some mannose-6-phosphate-rich phosphomannan to create a resin to isolate mannose-6-phosphate binding P-lectins.
Does anyone have any ideas where can I obtain such sugar?
I don't find any commercial product to isolate those lectins unfortunately.
In the literature, phosphomannans are used for this purpose and they are produced by certain yeast strains and isolated.
However, I would like to ask first if there is any product somewhere I miss out before going into yeast production hassle.
I appreciate any suggestion.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Burak
