In would like to describe the study area, where data have been collected about CREMA ( community conservation areas) in Ghana. I am looking for geo data, so that I can draw a map showing the study area, Butre, within Ghana and Africa, but most importantly showing the biodiversity existing there ( wetlands, forest, lagoon and the Atlantic sea). I do not know where to find such, as this is the first time I am trying to make a map :-), I am still optimistic though. My naive google search did not yield any fruits. I would be happy about any tip, where to search. Thanks in advance and safe days to you all.

You can make one by downloading shapefile data of your desired location from USGS or earth data website. For further assistance you may go through YouTube where you can watch lots of videos on how to access these sites and make a map too. Best wishes
For the shapefiles, you can visit https://www.diva-gis.org/gdata. Find your country from the list and download your desired shapefiles (eg land cover, administrative, roads, elevation, population etc).
For satellite data, you can visit USGS and download specific images.
If you want to draw specific shapes on a map, you can use google earth pro.
