As far as I understand it, the method proposed by Andrey E. Krauklis works only for your own publications. It is not possible to add citations from publications by others. This problem has been raised in many discussions before. Here is an incomplete list:

Dear Anton Vrdoljak and Wolfgang R. Dick even if it works only with our own papers this is efficient and better than nothing, I hope that we can fix this in the future.

For me I have the opposite problem, there are some citations in researchgate that I can't add in google scholar.

Usually we give more care to citations in Scopus and WOS. The more reliable way, that you send authors a message or write them a comment at their article page in RG to ask them to fix the references.
