Regarding the endangered species the easiest is to query the IUCN redlist online ...

It isn't hard to work out once you play with it a bit.

For international trade a good place to start is the CITES listings, see

Again not too hard to work it out.

Regarding specific Malaysian regulations see the attached (overlaps with the CITES, you need to search to see which are native and check updates).

If you enter the IUCN redlist (www.iucn.redlist.org) you can click "search other options" that enables you to select the taxon and region you're interested in. It provides the option to print a list of all endangered species within your criteria, including information on the level of vulnerabilit (CR, EN, VU, ...).
