A couple of articles that might assist - the first makes reference to 'practices of the Maori people of New Zealandand' and the second draws on 'family group conferencing (a restorative justice intervention based on Maori whanau':

I have found some however I (for some reason) thought we may have had an abundance of literature (primary research data) in which to peruse. Canadian (First Nation) Literature is there and is most helpful (i.e. culturally congruent).
