>> This kind of question cannot be generalized, and sample would not probably have a pure culture. It would be a mixed culture and the specifics would be variable and dependable on your experiment.

>> As mentioned above, there is no best in general. You don't even know if there would be any anaerobic bacteria. Thus, isolation should be done on both kind on conditions.

Abhijeet Singh True, but I'm attempting to specify the survival time for each anaerobes alone for a proposed study.
and I'm looking for the best general media set so that all anaerobe bacteria can grow on it similar to how you use (BA,CNA,MAC,PVX,CRO) media set for aerobic / facultative anaerobic bacteria. (even if the sample is mixed, bear in mind that I'll also use aerobic media set, so I'll cover all the bacteria).
