When we decrease the gate voltages the apparent mean free path is decrease I want to find the reason behind it and what will its effect on scattering?

at low gate voltage (near charge neutrality of graphene) the electron-hole puddles generated by the static charge disorder on graphene is more apparent (as it is usually flooded by the larger amount of electrostatic charge induced by the gate at high gate voltage) . that is why mean free path is lower .
