i am new in abaqus, i'm working on a coupled temp and displacement simulation, i want to know when i can say that my structure including tree different material with different CTE under thermal shock are failed?

plotting force-displacement graph is easy.
in abaqus; first, you have to create a set containing that particular node (or even a geometric point). then in History output, choose your output (force) and select the set you have created. after analysis is done. in the results tree, you can plot your curve.

I try it before, but there are two problem, first how i can plot this figure only for one node? second problem is when i choose a set of nodes, (for example 10 nodes) after plotting, abaqus draws 10 curve in a single figure, do you undrestand what i mean?

a set of nodes can contain one node!
why are you choosing sevral nodes.
