When using carbon paste electrode, the base line (background current) not the same in all days ?
I prepare the carbon paste electrode, the background current differ from day to day, although the work at the same conditions. The same electrolyte, the same pH, etc
I am not clear on the exact experiment you are running here, but you did not mention temperature control. Has this been fixed? If yes, to what degree of precision? What is the precision of other things that you are keeping "the same"?
In my last experience, the way you packed also gave significant change to the reading (too tight or too loose) as well as the way you make the paste.
In case of dye-sensitized solar cell preparation, base current of carbon paste electrode may differ as you said due to several atmospheric conditions.
