my question is about graphene first use as reinforcement by whom and details related to it.
graphene reinforced polymer because the graphene more strength and thermal conductivity high
Dear Mahmood,
selection of reinforcement depend on
1- to over come weakness of matrix and
2- to enhance the mechanical properties,
Graphene is 2 D with Hexagonal crystalline structure
having high thermal conductivity, strength, large surface area compare to particle, electron mobility
(polymer suffer from low thermal conductivity, strength)
Graphene +polymer matrix results in METC improvement,
mechanical,electrical,thermal, chemical etc are improved,
should be polymer.
I hope this will help you,

Dear Bhaskar ... any idea, when graphene was 1st incorporated in polymer matrix ... just roughly
