In some cases, nanofluid regime is related to a fluid that flowing in a nanoscale channel. But, my question is when a fluid regime is characterized az nanofluid flow and what is differences between nanofluid and molecular fluid dynamic?
As I know the term "nanofluid" used for a dispersion of nanosized particles in a liquid medium, so it undergoes the laminar or turbulent conditions. Do you have any definition or evidence of nanofluid as a fluid flow regime?
if nano fluid you mean, its a kind of fluid that's mixed with two parts nano particle and base fluid cause of that has more heat coefficient conduction and you can calculate it in continuum condition and doesn't need molecular fluid dynamic, but if you mean micro or nano pipes or channels it depend on Knudsen number if Kn>10 ,then you should use molecular fluid dynamic or other molecular models like hard sphere method, soft sphere method and etc. Careful about your definition.
