I have little confusion about E-Plane Co-Polarization and Cross-Polarization, H-Plane Co-Polarization and Cross-Polarization. so please i would like to know How we can find those in HFSS ? If any one have solution kindly suggest me.
When you excite the antenna with a source with linear polarization, It does not mean that the field's vector in far field will be parallel to the source's field vector. The vector in far field can always be represented as the sum of the 2 components, parallel and perpendicular to the source vector. Parallel component - co polarization, perpendicular - cross polarization. In HFSS you can choose the far field X, Y, Z, depending on you source polarization.
