Is it any app to log experiments? What do you use to log your experiments? Voice recorder? Notebook?
That depends upon the situation. Working in a chemistry lab, we need to keep paper notebooks. In an anatomy lab or a microbiology lab, a voice recording might be a better option. (That way you don't cross contaminate you, your notebook and your experiment.)

In my case, I basically investigate... anything, mainly live being: plants, animals, fungui and bacteria. My house looks more like a lab.
As I like to investigate quite a lot, I miss also a lot of thoughts because I don´t have a propper way to log my experiments.
I find easy to use a recorder. But...then I would need to transcript all those recordings, which would be a pain.
I can´t find a way to log that more efficiently than a notebook or recorder, and just thought something more...advanced had been developed.
I guess I will have to stick to a notebook
