Please let me know me what’s the best teaching method that faculty should use to teach the computer science undergraduate and graduate students and why?
I do not believe there is the best teaching method- "no one size shoe fits all" syndrome. Remember, there are teacher centered and student centered approaches. You must decided what approach will be appropriate or applicable for your teaching style to accommodate students' learning style. Then you must also consider the context and type of student (Net Generation) because these two factors can have an influence on the outcome of the lesson. In your case use more practical teaching approaches - a student centered approach -get them more involve and collectively engaging in the scenario or problem-based learning caases.

According to Kumaravadivellu (2012) , we are now living in the post method era,when teachers should treat every teaching situation as a unique context whereby learners' needs should be satisfied by reflective teachers with proper professional qualifications. As such, instead of searching for an alternative method, we should strive towards discovering a method alternative in the globalized English Language Teaching era.

All depends on the students learning styles, teachers teaching style and of course topic of the day.
Teaching method should satisfy the students. Only if they like the style we take class , it will be considered as successful. On my view it cannot be generalized.
There may not be a conventional answer to this question. I think it depends on the target audience (composition of the class) and the defined learning goals & objectives.
