Looking into drying finished plastic parts, what's the best method , any influence of properties if i used Oven heater or vacum drying ... Any other recommended methods ?
You can use hot air blower to dry the product, oven heater or vacuum drying can also be used depending on hte type of polymer and its degradation characteristics.
To be on the safe side, I suggest vacuum drying. As you know, application of vacuum will reduce heat requirements which means that thermal degradation, whatever its degree, will be avoided.
I used to teach my students this, long time ago, in the polymer technology laboratory when they wanted to dry molded plastic spoons & spatulas.
Like Mr. Nizar Matar mentioned it makes sense using low temperatures. Not only because it minimizes degradation but thermally induced stresses as well.
Everything that raises the temperature and lowers the ambient pressure could ne used to dry plastic parts because both raise the vapor pressure of the water/moisture within the part. But keep in mind that you will vaporize leftovers of your monomers and other materials/additives with low vapor pressure within the part as well.
Problematic it might get using a hot air fan because the "wind" generated could influence the surface quality by generating waves, bubbles, etc. or even some pressure marks.
Freeze drying is another possibility. But here you might get problems by the expansion of water while freezing that could cause cracks etc..
Last but not least you could also think of just store your part in a moisture free ambient.
