Selvi - Children victims of child maltreatment is a very sensitive group to deal with and number of precautions are needed to deal with this group. The inventory should be based on the following: 1) Be sensitive to cultural concerns, 2) Recognize potential language differences, 3) Become aware of gender issues, 4) Be nonjudgmental and sensitive. I think you can look for "The Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ)" which is a self-report instrument covering 28 items, to rate the severity of emotional abuse and neglect, physical abuse and neglect and sexual abuse. It has been validated in terms of psychometric test properties in samples of psychiatric patients, i.e. drug and substance abusers. [Bernstein 1994] This data set includes five CTQ sub-scale scores. Refer to the data code-book for the detailed information of each variable.
